Welcome to VELATO ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Apoorva Foot Wear. VELATO operates this store, website and related services (the "Services"), powered by Shopify. By visiting or using our Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility & account. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or using the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
2. Products. We make every effort to display our products accurately, but colours and appearance may vary by screen and device. We may change or discontinue any product, and limit quantities, at our discretion without notice.
3. Orders. Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it and receive payment. If we cancel an accepted order, we will refund you in full.
4. Prices & billing. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and, unless stated, inclusive of applicable taxes; shipping or COD charges (if any) are shown at checkout. Prices and promotions may change without notice. You agree to provide current, accurate payment and account information.
5. Payments. Payments are processed by third-party gateways (such as Razorpay) and PayPal; we do not store your full card or banking details. Cash on Delivery may be available on eligible orders and pincodes.
6. Shipping. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. See our Shipping & Returns page.
7. Returns & refunds. Governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property. All content on the Services — including the VELATO name, logo, designs, images and text — is owned by or licensed to VELATO and protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only and may not copy, reproduce or exploit any content without our written permission.
9. Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, to infringe the rights of others, to transmit malicious code, to scrape or harvest data, or to interfere with the operation or security of the Services. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
10. Disclaimer of warranties. To the extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELATO and its partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Services or products. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
12. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VELATO and its affiliates from any claims or losses arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of the Services.
13. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
